What Equipment Do You Need to Serve Açaí Bowls?
The equipment you need depends on the açaí format you choose.
A café serving Corcrá Traditional Sorbet does not need a blender or specialist açaí machine. A business making blended bowls from frozen cubes needs a suitable blender. Soft Serve requires a dedicated machine, freezer and refrigerator.
Choose how you want to serve açaí before choosing equipment.
For sorbet bowls
The basic setup for Traditional or Guaraná Sorbet includes:
A commercial freezer.
A preparation area.
A scale.
A suitable scooper or serving utensil.
Bowls and spoons.
Appropriate topping storage.
This is the route with the lowest specialist-equipment requirement in the Corcrá range.
The scale supports controlled base portion target. Toppings are additional, so include their quantities in your menu costing and preparation plan.
Traditional and Guaraná Sorbet are firm at deep-frozen storage temperature. Allow for preparation before serving and agree the handling procedure with Corcrá. Having a freezer and utensil does not mean the product is ready to scoop immediately under every storage condition.

For bowls and drinks made with cubes
For frozen açaí cubes, a café needs freezer storage, a suitable blender, recipe ingredients and a way to measure them.
This route can fit an existing smoothie or shake menu. The operator develops the finished recipe, including the other fruit, liquid or ingredients used.
Check that the blender is suitable for your intended frozen-ingredient recipe and workload. A blender already on the counter is not automatically the right choice for every bowl texture or service volume.
Corcrá’s cube recipe quantities and blending ratios still need testing, so discuss the intended application before treating a recipe as ready for service.

For açaí Soft Serve
Soft Serve needs:
A freezer for the supplied frozen product.
Refrigeration for planned preparation.
A suitable soft-serve machine.
An established preparation and cleaning process.

Corcrá Soft Serve arrives frozen. It should not be planned as an ambient-stable liquid product.
Corcrá’s operating experience includes testing on selected Gel-Matic, Spaceman and Vevor machines. That does not establish compatibility with every model from those brands. Confirm the exact machine and intended application before purchase or setup.
Machine settings, handling and measured output need to be established for the specific operation. Do not assume machine aeration creates additional product mass or guarantees more servings at a fixed weight.
Plan the topping station too
Whichever base you choose, allow space for toppings, utensils, bowls and the finished order.
Use the storage requirements of each topping to plan the station. Consider how the team will portion ingredients and finish bowls while handling the rest of the café’s orders.
A small opening menu can help you establish that routine before adding more combinations.
Which route fits your business?
Start with sorbet if you want prepared-base bowl service with minimal specialist equipment.
Choose cubes if blended drinks are already central to your menu or you want to develop your own bowl recipes.
Consider Soft Serve if expected volume and your service concept justify the machine, preparation and cleaning requirements.
